At the outset, my heart goes out to Aisling Murphy's family, but particularly what I am mindful of yesterday was the first-class kids lining the street. I have two granddaughters, Ellie and Isabel. I cannot imagine what it would take to explain to either of them the brutality by which that woman died. That is a matter now for the courts and the Gardaí, and I will say no more on it. I was delighted to hear Senator Cummins speak about search and rescue. I know that 17 of the South East people have come together on the search and rescue, and I will have more to say on that tomorrow. Finally, the thing I want to draw attention to, the members, those that do not know, our former colleague, Senator Ian Marshall, was honoured in the Christmas honours list from Her Majesty the Queen, and was awarded an OBE, and I would ask that the Shannad write to the former Senator Marshall and congratulate him on his elevation there. I know that he is a candidate for the UUP in the forthcoming elections, and I think all of us would agree he is the sort of moderate individual that we need working with us on the other side of the border. So I think he was a really good guy, and I wish him all the very best.
