Shea Brennan highlights finance background and trade focus

Shea Brennan, TD for Dublin Ratdown, introduced himself and emphasised his finance and banking background and his interest in trade. He said he was elected for the first time at the recent elections and outlined prior local government service and international banking experience.

Local government service

Shea Brennan served ten years on Dunleary Ratdown County Council, where he was fortunate enough to spend a year as Cahirlok and also as last Cahirlok, according to his statement.

Professional background in finance

He described a background outside politics in finance and banking, noting experience with banks internationally, including time spent in Zurich and in Boston.

Committee priorities

Brennan said he looks forward particularly to the trade aspect of this committee and identified trade as a key area of interest for his committee work.
