Carol Nolan urges rollover of knowledge transfer scheme
Carol Nolan asked Ministers Doherty and Doyle whether the knowledge transfer scheme will be rolled over until the common agricultural policy is agreed, urging ministers to make every effort to do so. She cited the programme for government and farmers' praise for the scheme.

Farmers' feedback
Nolan said she met a group of farmers last week in Bor who told her the scheme was very successful and worthwhile, reinforcing her call for its continuation.
Ministerial response
A minister replied that the Deputy is right, saying the knowledge transfer schemes have been part of the world development programme under the CAP and have been very successful. The minister said there is a likelihood that the next Вас game is going to be delayed by at least a year and that transitionary arrangements are intended to try and accommodate the knowledge transfers under that provision.
