In terms of what you're stating about tax bills, the laws in respect of taxation of carers has not changed in any respect whatsoever. There was a letter sent out by the revenue commissioners in November but the law itself has not changed. The law now is the same as it was prior to the letters going out in November. This government very much recognises and appreciates the excellent work done by carers and I think if you look at the measures that have been introduced by the government in respect to carers and disabled people, that support for them is evident from what the government does.
