Following an EU complaint by Donegal homeowners, quarry audits were carried out and the government is confident that there have been no market surveillance failures since 2021. Now that claim is deeply questionable. FOI material released to me raises serious concerns about these audits including the reliance in incomplete software testing and clear compliancy gaps. This points to failure and oversight enforcement. So, Tánaiste, will you act to ensure accountability and strengthen the legal protections including legislative change and have these issues been raised with the European Commission and when will IS 465 be delivered? Thanks very much to Deputy Ward for raising this matter and I know he raised it with me in the House relatively recently as he quite rightly should and I know I gave him the latest update then and I believed that process was drawing to a conclusion. I don't have any further information today but I will make sure on foot of you raising this issue that Minister Brown comes back to you directly specifically on the timeline for the conclusion of that and also any contact that we've had with the European Commission.
