Conor D McGuinness on school funding and sustainability grants

Conor D McGuinness on school funding and sustainability grants

Conor D McGuinness spoke about a visitor named Nienhra, her links to the University of London and local schools, and funding for school services. He outlined differences between capital funding and a separate sustainability fund, noting published criteria and offering to provide last year’s funding figures after the meeting.

Visitor and school background

He asked colleagues to welcome Nienhra to the University of London and described her attendance at a three-year-old and a nine-year-old school and her graduation. The speaker repeatedly referenced Nienhra’s association with the university and local schools during his remarks.

Funding streams and eligibility

He said there are distinct funding streams - capital funding and a sustainability fund - each with clear, published criteria that services see when they apply. The speaker explained the sustainability fund involves a case management process and that applicants must demonstrate a financial need for additional funding.

Sustainability fund availability

He stated his understanding that the sustainability fund has often been undersubscribed and that he did not have the exact figure for last year available at the meeting. He offered to provide the details on funds made available in the previous year after the meeting.

Timing of capital funding round and other references

He said this year’s capital funding round is due to open shortly, with time frames and criteria to be finalised and published in the coming weeks. He also referenced GoFundMe and mentioned groups currently in China and the United States in the discussion, while saying he was not in a position to comment on specific services.

Thank you very much. I wanted to ask Nienhra to welcome Nienhra to the University of London. She was Nienhra from the three-year-old three-year-old. She was Nienhra from the three-year-old school and the nine-year-old school. I was told to remember that Nienhra was Nienhra from the university. She was Nienhra and was Nienhra from the three-year-old school. I liked Nienhra from Nienhra and at once. She graduated a Wien. She was the school in the conference and she was on the Wien. She was Nienhra from the university of the University of London. She was Nienhra and was Nienhra. I do not know about it. It is a good idea that I have seen in the community that I have the students. But I don't know about it. I don't know about it. I don't know about it. I don't know about it. I don't know about it. And I can't do it. I thought it was about it. in GoFundMe, as she was in China. And there's a group there, although they are currently in China, in China, there is a group of people who are in the United States, who are in the United States, who is a group of people in the United States. And I'm sure you're interested in this, and a lot of people who are in the States are very competitive, and they're very competitive. In the next couple of years, when I was in the third quarter of the year, At the time, there was a new school in the New England, a school in the Beron Gael's school in the UK that was in the area of the country and the country in the UK. But at the time, there was a pre-fab, and there was a second or third hand pre-fab in the first place, a new school was up to the U.S. and then the new school was up to it. But it was a new capital on the new year. In the last year, I was able to get to the sustainability grant from the capital of the city. I didn't have to do anything to do with the sustainability grant. I don't think I'm able to do anything like that. I don't know if I'm willing to do anything. I don't know if I'm willing to do anything and I don't have to do anything to do. So that's my pleasure. So, yeah, again, I'm not in a position to comment on the specific services you're talking about, but I think a similar, I suppose, similar sort of context to the service that the deputy was describing. Again, I would say, like, there are funding streams available, capital funding and sustainability funding. As you'll appreciate, they have, you know, clear criteria that are published, so all services know the criteria when they apply, and, you know, it's not awarded on, I suppose, a case-by-case basis. Well, the sustainability fund, there's a case management process, but there is, you know, clear criteria, transparent criteria that are used to determine when the funding is available. The, you asked about the funding available under sustainability fund last year. I don't know if we have, I don't think we have that figure here. We can certainly provide that to you after the meeting. There's no difficulty with that. My understanding is that the sustainability fund has often been undersubscribed. So, I'm not entirely sure why that is, but I know services that apply for it, you know, are required to demonstrate that they have a need, financial need, for additional funding. But we can provide the details on the funds that were made available last year after the meeting. Thank you. So, the capital funding and the sustainability funding are different funding streams. I don't have the details of the exact time frame for this year's capital funding round, but I believe it's due to open shortly, and there's, as part of the process, we published, you know, not only the criteria, the application, the criteria that are used for determining whether applications will be successful or not, but also we, you know, we let services know the time frames. So, that, I think, this year's funding round is due to start fairly soon. I don't know if any of my colleagues have any dates. So, no dates as such, but it is within the coming weeks, so there's just the finalising, I suppose, the criteria and the details to issue out what it is coming in the next couple of weeks. Yeah.
