Danny Healy-Rae Praises Outgoing Kjong Korla, Vows Kerry First
Danny Healy-Rae congratulated Kjong on being elevated to the High Office of Kjong Korla and thanked the outgoing Kjong Korla, Shano Faril, for his service. Thank you, Kjong, and I wish to congratulate you on being elevated to the High Office of Kjong Korla. I want to, and wish you well, I want to thank the outgoing Kjong Korla, Shano Faril, for the dedication and, you know, the fair play that he gave everyone in this chamber, because he did, and we'll remember him, he changed a lot of things from previous Kjong Korlas and made it for the better. I want to thank the people of Kerry who entrusted me and elected me for a tough time to represent him. My focus will be on Kerry and the people of Kerry day in, day out, and like Michael said, the people of Ireland after Kerry first and the people of the rest of the country after. I want to thank my canvassers, the people that put up pauses for me, that went around the roads, day and night with me, and with my team of, led by Johnny and Mara Healy-Rae, who happens to be the mayor of Killarney, which I'm very, very proud of. There are two great councillors, and Michael's son, Jack, is a great councillor as well. I, again, I say to Kjong Korla, it's Kerry and the people of Kerry, and I'm glad that they forced me to send me up here for the talk time. Thank you very much.
