Mattie McGrath criticises testing regime, defends the Gael D

I want to say, put on the record, in case some government TDs, as they did with Deputy Sharktal, totally wrongly, accused her of not supporting the Gael D, I support the Gael D 100%, we have an excellent community division in Temporary, it was stood down, was back up, I want to support Sergeant Ray Maloney, and indeed Superintendent Whelan, Inspector, and care, all of them, and thank them for the work they've done, they've now re-engaged since this morning again, just this morning rather, to go out to visit the elderly in the honourable people out there, so 100%, so don't let anyone come through anything like that, Minister, it's just the testing, and the testing and tracing system is a shambles, and if we want a confirmation, we had a while ago, and I agree totally with Deputy O'Donoghore, which is breaking news, the media should be curtailed here, because they have people frightened of their lives, morning, noon, and night, and midnight, and the hour after, and again at 5am in the morning, breaking, breaking, breaking, they have our hearts broke, they're frightened, they're scared, they're worried, and they're confused, and since you come in the office, and you told me yesterday that my contribution wasn't worthy of you speaking to, you have been another failure, I thought the last man was better, I thought it couldn't get any worse, but by God, you two, you come from the same village, out in the leafy suburbs of Wicklow, outside in up in Greystone, you could pay 3 million for a house, you don't have a clue what's going on, and you're going to preside over this shambolic health system, Deputy O'Donoghore again said about the 3.8 billion, since I came into it all in 07, every year we've incrementally given a billion extra, and we've got less and less and worse and worse outcomes, it's a disaster system, it's not capable, and the people need hope out there, and I could go into lists of cases who are waiting, and PCRs and the whole lot, but you won't engage with any of the scientists and specialists who want to know, who claim to know, and I expect they do, a lot more than I do, and will never learn, and you won't engage with them, no, they don't know, they're all conspiracy theorists, they're all wrong, you're just streaming ahead with the PCR tests costing 195 euro per test, that some people make an outrageous amount of money, but money doesn't matter in the HC, they've just pumped 2.1 million into a closed psychiatric unit in Thandmel, where we're badly, badly need a mental health bed, we don't have one, and they're not a word of accountability for COVID crisis, money is like confetti, it's like the fertiliser spreaders that grow out in the forest, of the helicopters, just throw it down, money, manna from heaven you think has come, but you don't believe in heaven the most, and you want to allow the people to go to mass, and I'm going to go back to you, and I want to thank everybody to make their marriage, for burying, when you retorted that the people could go to mass, and the priest wouldn't be punished, the priest will be punished under the legislation, unless they do it online, and the church is doing it, it's a sad country when Mary or Johnny or Tom or Billy can't go in and say, prayer, I can't go to that mass, or get their work, or people in their deathbeds in the hospitals, can't get the last rights, it's shocking, shocking, and it's shocking, and you were there, that's easy to challenge, but he was quick enough to get the act, to quote you the exact articles of it, because he's a legal brain, and fair juice to him, I compliment him, and he's worked as well, so Minister, the marks are closed, I mean people are so bad this time of year, you're going to stand down and call to your family yourself, and have a few capital for the marks occasionally, and you have to sell them this time, you have to pay their bills, and some people, first of all, they're not on technology, but second of all, technology is a disaster in most places in rural Ireland, and a lot of them have collapsed, and the marks can't work, so Minister, you have to deal with that as well. Deputy Kelly was here this morning talking about, this was simply crazy, and it was appalling, and it was downright disgraceful, but yet he's voting for it, this legislation, I can't understand this at all, I mean we were expected to come into it all here, scrutin legislation, we have no scrutin, we've got 48 euros notice of this, and deputies are condemning it, and they're voting for it, what is wrong with these people, and we're voting, again I say it today, to give you the power, under statutory instruments, whatever one you dream of, in your leafy server, in your comfortable bed, out in grey stones, with the sea water, you know, going around the air, like a vapour, giving you clean thinking, you're thinking, you're putting up 25 reasons yesterday, in these regulations, why people can't leave their house, 25, we can't, lock them up, they're breaking the law if they leave their house, my god, and you're also saying that, you can be in any statutory instrument that you like, without any recourse to this house, any scrutiny, any debate, any vote, so we're wasting our time here, we should stay at home, and save the taxpayers, the money, and the costs of being here, because we can't, we have no say, we have no say to this government, it's a tyranny, that you're imposing on the people, and I can't believe that the opposition parties, who I respect them individually, are buying this, a pig in a poke, blindfolded, or giving out about it all, right, to the crony, and everything, the crony, and everything else we get, they're going to vote for it, I certainly, I'm going to put my name to any vote, to terrorise, and put a tyrannical rule, on our people, young and old, from the cradle to the grave, and I condemn any of the people, that were in gratitude, just to be misbehaving, and I support the Gaddy, but we saw the Gaddy have the powers already, so you wouldn't need to be here debating this at all today, to have other powers they want, and again, you must respect the ICSI, the RGSI, the Association of Sergeant Inspectors, and Sergeant Cunningham, a female member, who has said she's concerned about these powers, they have more rows of regulations, now, if there's nothing else from the time to come on the roster, and the 12-hour rosters, I want to thank them for working so hard, and give the whole day of reading to regulations, to be thanked, and clock out, and they're finished, it's a cop, and a codology job, and your departments are so secure in their way, we know it all, don't mind Deputy McGrath, don't mind Deputy Fitzmaurice, don't mind Deputy from Clare, and Michael McNamara, don't mind Deputy Pinkley or any of us, or last Count Cole, I used to be saying, you know best, you know it all, you can't bring the people with you that way, tyranny won't, as I said yesterday, Dan Brighan, and Sean Tracy, and Sean Hogan, and many more, ended the tyranny in Ireland, in 76 counties, ended it, my late father spent 14 months in prison, as well as being out, in that war, with Limo Lantic, the great patriot as well, they gave their lives for it, and now you want to take lives from people, and they're not worried about the suicide deaths, they're not worried about the cancer deaths, they're not worried about the severing cancer smear, and the scandal that that was, and the many other scandals that are brewing inside the hospital systems, because of an inept, inadequate, ham-fisted, the Cornean HSE, the can, it's not fit for purpose, former Taoiseach, too, Bertie Heron, and Barry, and Barry, and Barry, uh, Barry Cown, told me that we're going to expand the HSE, I doubt if Mickey Martin, or teacher Martin, will, will, will, Michael Martin, will, will, will, Deputy Martin, will, will expand it, because he's setting it up, so he's good at setting up quangos, that is the biggest, most dangerous, irresponsible, tyrannical, uh, quango, that this country, or any part of the world, we can go to mass, the only free country in the world, you can't go to mass or trot, is, is North Korea, uh, Saudi Arabia, and Mother Island, Mother Island is dead and gone, it's with O'Leary in the grave, God help us, can I call her, uh, God help us, that I say, quangos.
